A New Building In Our Future!

After months of looking at possible buildings for expansion, we finally found one that fits the need. The picture below shows the exterior. It is 16 years old, has never been occupied for business purposes, and is in excellent condition. The exterior dimensions are 50’ by 100’. Since the first of this year, the current owner remodeled the front 25% of the building, creating a two-story office complex. The remaining 75% is a completely open, two-story warehouse. The building has the potential, with additional remodeling, of have nearly 10,000 sq. ft. of space, nearly four times our current space.

We do not have the resources to purchase the building at this time, so we are proceeding cautiously. To be able to use the building, we signed a one-year lease with the option to buy at any time. We also have an option to extend the lease for a second year. The purchase price has also been frozen for those two years. A contractor has given us an estimate for completing the remodeling to meet our needs. The total cost for the building, remodeling, and needed furnishings is about $230,000.

We will remodel in two phases. Phase One will create the offices we need immediately. Phase Two, building a print shop in the warehouse, will occur when we have raised sufficient money to purchase the building. (The two drawings show the interior layout when both phases are completed.)

We have now begun the process of raising the funds necessary for the purchase. We have contacted several pastors who have expressed a desire to help us in this effort. As an interested supporter of EBI, we ask you to pray about this need. We would also ask you to consider what you can do to help.
